Confessing Sin, Thanking God

 Father God, I want to come to you to confess my sins to you. 

I feel like I have a lot of pride going on. I know that in Proverbs 16:5, that you HATE pride. Father God, please forgive me. I've been very prideful when it comes to my new job promotion. At least, I feel like I have. I know for a fact that there have been MANY other times where I have been prideful in Your eyes. For all of those times in the past (and for the ones in the future), I am so sorry!!! Please lead me down the path of righteousness. 

Father God, I have also lusted after people. People that I have no business lusting after. People that are former coworkers, but who are also married. Please help me keep my heart true to not only You, but to Patrick. 

Father God, I very much adore You. I very much adore Your son, Jesus. Father, I am forever grateful for this promotion that I have just gotten. Yes, I really want management. I know that that is coming at some point. Patience really has paid off. Now I just have to be patient some more. My time will come. I am putting my hope and patience into you, Father God.
